SHINE IN THE SHADOWS
MATTHEW 5:14
You are the light of the world-- like a city on a hilltop that cannot be hidden.
There is a temptation in ministry to wait until everything looks perfect before we shine - to wait for a bigger platform, a clearer plan, or a more "significant" season. But light isn't meant to wait. Light shines - even in small spaces, even in the shadows.
Maybe you're serving behind the scenes, unseen by most. Maybe your work feels ordinary compared to others who seem to shine brighter or louder. But God does not measure light by visibility - He measures it by impact. Even a small flame can change the atmosphere in a dark room.
Sister, it's time to stop hiding your light! God placed you exactly where you are - not by accident, but by assignment. Your presence in that classroom, pulpit, office, kitchen, or community carries His glory. The people around you may not know they need His light, but they'll feel it when you walk in.
Don't wait for the stage. Don't wait for the perfect moment. The call of Christ is not "one day when..." - it's today, right here, right now. Speak the word. Start the project. Encourage that sister. Pray for that soul. Shine boldly, because heaven is counting on your obedience more than your perfection.
This is not a season to shrink. This is a season to shine.
