What is chi alpha?

We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ’s behalf: Be reconciled to God.
— 2 corinthians 5:20 niv

Chi Alpha is a discipleship movement among college students - discipling students to fulfill their purpose in God's global plan. Our goal is to see students reconciled to Christ and be sent out into the marketplace, the church, and the entire world to plant the flag of Christ. Our core values center around Worship, Community, and Missions.

Meet your Kansas Chi Alpha Representative, Hannah Bowling! Hannah is an Arkansas native who moved to Kansas in 2018. While in college, she heard the full gospel story for the first time at a Chi Alpha service in Arkansas and was completely transformed. In 2012, Hannah answered the call into full time ministry via the Chi Alpha training program called CMIT. She has been serving in Chi Alpha ever since. Along this journey, Hannah married Zach Bowling in 2013. Zach has been in full time ministry with Chi Alpha since 2012.They have FOUR amazing kiddos together and are the Chi Alpha directors at the University of Kansas.
