I have been a Royal Ranger commander for 9 years. I am also the Senior Commander at Overland Park First Assembly of God. I would not be able to do this ministry without the support of my family, my lovely wife of 19 years Colista and my two children Colista Marie (16) and Robert (14). I was involved in Royal Rangers as a boy growing up in Marshall, Mo. My dad Charles Antwiler was the Senior Commander at Outpost 72 at Marshall First Assembly of God. He is still an inspiration for me even today.

I attend Galena Assembly of God and have been involved in Royal Rangers since the age of 5 and earned the GMA.  I have completed the Leaders Medal of Achievement (LMA) and National Training Camp (NTC).  Royal Rangers has greatly impacted my life and many people in my family.  As a boy, church was not a concern for my father, however, my mother kept me in church and my father allowed me to attend only if I attended Royal Rangers.  Even though my father was unsaved at the time, he liked the Royal Ranger program.  In 1994 at the National Camporama in Eagle Rock Missouri, God spoke to me.  He said, "Shawn, if you have your group pray for your dad he will give his life to me."  Later that year my father gave his life to Christ.  Since that time several of my family members have followed him to salvation.  When my father was getting baptized in water he told me that one of the reasons he gave his life to Christ was because of Royal Rangers.  He saw how it had molded and shaped me into a man of God.  I was just ONE boy and Rangers has affected SEVERAL in my family.
