  • STL Matching Fund Grant

We have a God-Only opportunity before us. Someone has committed up to a $100,000 matching fund grant to KYM for STL money that we raise as a state for water wells in Africa. We need everyone to do their very best as this is free money to be added onto what we do. Let's sacrifice individually, work together, & see what God does in & through us!

  • STL Thanksgiving Pie Fundraiser

Saturday Nov. 23rd was a big day for us. We had pre-sold 93 pies to people from our church and the community. Our thought was people are either going to buy pies or make them themselves for Thanksgiving so why not do the baking for them and make money for STL at the same time. Our morning started at 9:30am with making the crust for our pies and getting 6 pies in the oven as soon as possible. The oven was occupied with pies for the next 12 hours as we finished up our Apple, Pecan, and Pumpkin pies. I made the pie sales a contest between age groups giving a prize to the group that would win. Our high school group was all over that and ended up selling the most pies. It was a fun way to get everyone involved in raising funds for STL.

  • STL Golf Tournament

We ended up having five teams participate and easily made $1,200 in profit for STL! Very easy and fun way to raise money for missions!

"But store up for yourselves treasure in heaven, where moths and vermin do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal.  For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also."

It's not about the money.  It's about the souls that can't be reached if money isn't given to help our missionaries.  We must store up for ourselves treasures in heaven.  Everything around us screams that the economy is terrible and that the world is in turmoil.  But God is in control.  Believe the report of Joshua and Caleb that we can do it together!
