The following testimony is a sample of what God is doing across Kansas.
On Friday I received a call from the pastor's wife of the Methodist church. She asked if I could meet her for lunch. She needed someone to talk with. I feel like it was a divine appointment. At lunch she began to tell me of her upbringing in an Assemblies of God church. She said she was missing the freedom of the spirit. She then said, "Pastor Betty, would you teach me to pray?" This precious pastor’s wife commented that she didn't have a prayer life and that she knew she needed to draw closer to God. Her grown children are disconnected from the Lord. We are going to start meeting once a week at the church to pray. I can sense a longing in her spirit for more of God. I love the "open doors" that God gives. HE IS AMAZING!

All Honour, Glory and Praise to God our Holy Father of Lights with whom is neither variableness nor shadow of turning through Jesus Christ his son, for his infinite mercies towards my family and me. Early last Sunday morning there was some excitement in my family when I was awakened by a telephone call informing that my brother, on a cycling expedition with friends, fell and broke his arm in two places and was in incredible pain. My first impulse was to just spring out of bed and get to the scene to see how I could help. However, I knew there was nothing positive I could do without the help of my Heavenly Father. So I decided instead to take some time to pray for mercy and guidance and it yielded the most awesome results! While I prayed, a doctor, who just happened to be on the scene, administered preliminary care after which a police escort ensured safe and swift transportation to the nearest hospital. Friends secured his personal belongings and arrangements were made for surgery all before my family and me could arrive. By the grace of our Heavenly Father, through Jesus Christ his son, it all passed so quickly, that before the end of the day my brother was resting comfortably in a post-operation observation room. Hallelujah! How awesome is that! We now pray for a swift and uncomplicated recovery for him as we give God all thanks and praise for his infinite wisdom, everlasting mercies and loving kindness towards my brother. So I bless the Lord with all my soul in the name of Jesus Christ his son, through whom all things are possible. Our Great Jehovah Rophe is excellent in all the earth! Amen!
