The Assemblies of God U.S. Missions is a facilitating, receipting and sending agency working through approved personnel to fulfill the intent of the Great Commission with special geographic emphasis on the United States and its population centers, subcultures, ethnic groups and institutions. The Assemblies of God U.S. Missions enlists, approves and places missionaries called of God to full-time Christian ministry.

Assemblies of God World Missions represents a growing family of more than 4,113 people — 2,098 appointed missionaries, 615 missionary associates and 1,400 missionary children — scattered throughout 200 countries and territories. These dedicated men and women, along with their children, are taking the gospel to cities, urban areas and remote villages, telling a lost world that Christ loves them and came to redeem them from their sins. Together they work with more than 310,000 national pastors in six geographical regions — Africa, Asia Pacific, Eurasia, Europe, Latin America and the Caribbean and Northern Asia. A word that accurately describes Assemblies of God World Missions today is “unprecedented.”

The Assemblies of God Worldwide Fellowship, which includes North America, now numbers more than 61 million members and adherents with more than 332,000 churches and preaching points. The doors of opportunity to preach the gospel of Christ also are unprecedented as missionaries and national believers minister to those who have never heard.

Hosting a Mission Convention is one of the best ways to teach your church people about Missions.  It provides an opportunity for your church to interact with Missionaries and to learn first hand what Missionaries experience.  The link below is a PowerPoint presentation by Pastor Kirk Ruchotzke detailing the importance of a Mission Convention and how to plan one.

If you are interested in hosting a Mission Convention please contact Andy Parks, Comprehensive Outreach Director, for some strategic planning ideas and tools.
