A MESSAGE FROM PASTOR STEVE....
"When it comes to Men's Ministries, I feel that it is the most important ministry in the local church, not to be-little any other ministry, but it is the one that is usually overlooked and underestimated in almost every church in America. Statistics show that when the men in our communities, towns, and cities alike receive Jesus as Lord and Savior, 93% of the time the whole family will be saved. When compared to children getting saved (15%) and women (25%), this is staggering when you think about it. There is no wonder why God has created us men to be the spiritual leaders of our homes.
I have assembled a leadership team with men from all over this state that will be assisting me in trying to effectively reach the men of this great state! We hope to create some new and practical events and resources that will empower all men to grow in Christ. As a former pastor once said "If the men leave God, then the family will leave God, and if the family goes, then so goes the church"! We do not take this challenge lightly. We want to be equipping and encouraging every man in this district to help them become the best Pentecostal fathers, husbands, employee, sons, and man of God that they can be.
I want to encourage all of our pastors, if you want to see growth in your local church, we need to reach the men. Any church that is growing will always have Godly men who are passionate about evangelizing, living, disciplining, and leading their families to a closer walk with the Lord, Jesus Christ. I know this challenge is great, but our God is greater.
