Gail Starnes, Kansas Children’s Ministry Director, is a credentialed Assembly of God minister. She is a graduate of Southwestern Assemblies of God University. Gail is married to Rev. Don Starnes and has two grown children, Josh and Annie. Gail has been active in Children's Ministries since she was a child herself . She has 37 years of experience and has served as a school teacher, special education instructor, Children's ministries director at multiple churches as well as a Children's Evangelist for 8 years.
Gail is a Certified Pastoral counselor with a specialty in child psychology and family counseling. She is presently the Children's Pastor at Bethel Life Center in Wichita, Kansas where she has served for over 10 years. Gail and her husband are U.S. Missionaries with Teen Challenge/Freedom Challenge. Both have served in the District office, pastored, as well as youth pastored for many years. Gail believes that "laughter does good like medicine," and that it is her responsibility to show the love of Jesus to every child that passes through her sphere of influence. Her desire is to not only affect the lives of children but to train others to do the same.
